Blue and white table runner

This is the final kit to finish from the blue and white collection from Connecting Threads.  I love how quick this table runner was to put together and will save the pattern to make again.  

Blue and white flower table runner

Another project to coordinate with the living room refresh project.  This was a kit from Connecting Threads to coordinate with the quilts made for the love seats.  The flowers were done by fusing raw edge fabric and then sewing around shape with a very small zigzag stitch.  I echo quilted around the flowers and scalloped the edge of the runner.  Not sure if I will put this on one of the tables in the living room or the dining room table.

Serger Club Pillow

I was able to attend the serger club class last month at the local Baby Lock dealer and forgot to post the project.  We made a pillow using the ruffle foot and pin tuck foot.  I love this club as we learn new techniques every month and come home with a completed project.  The pillow goes really well with my pink quilts on display for the summer.

Novelty embroidered towels

Friday night I was too tired to sew anything complicated so decided to watch the machine do some embroidery.  Not sure where I got these designs but thought they would be fun to give to my uncle's girlfriend.

Silhouettes Pattern #575

Sewing with great friends on Memorial Day allowed enough sewing time to sew this blouse kit by Peggy Sagers.  It is going to be great for summer.  The fabric is a red and white seersucker and the only change to the pattern was adding red hook and eye trim to one side of the blouse.  If I make it again, I need to add some length for my comfort level.
